As a buyer
Our website and ‘For Sale’ boards will match you to a number of properties you’re certain to fall in love with. Once you’ve found the one, save the date for a viewing by calling one of our branches. Upon seeing the dream home in all its glory, you won’t be able to resist making an offer.
Before you take the leap, organise a meeting with our in-house mortgage broker to determine if the funds required are available to borrow. With the financial side sorted, you can then move onto delivering the documents to our recommended solicitors.
Finally, the due diligence will be complete, and you can start living life to the full with your new property. Of course, a house isn’t a home without furnishings. If you’ve not already purchased them, Priestley’s can also help with furniture packs.
As a seller
The first step is to take advantage of a free valuation with one of our branch managers, who will also advise on how best to attract potential purchasers. If the valuation pleases you, then you can authorise Priestleys to market your property.
We’ll promote your home by capturing professional photos that will allure as many prospective buyers as possible. Your property will then be displayed on over 100 online portals, including this website, Rightmove, Zoopla and Find a Property. Offline, it’ll be publicised via the ‘For Sale’ board and our office window displays.
Priestley’s will efficiently take care of the entire sales process. From performing all the viewings and negotiations to presenting a recommended solicitor to sell with, you won’t have to lift a finger.

How often, on average, does it take to sell a home with Priestley’s?
We aim to sell your property within three months, but we often complete the sales process within 28 days.
What services are included in your sales process?
A professional photographer will visit to take high-quality pictures of your property, and it will be advertised within 24 hours. Viewings will be arranged swiftly after any enquiries, and you’ll receive regular updates once an offer is accepted. You will have access to our associate solicitor, and there are also other specific services offered, depending on the package you opt for.
I’m already with an estate agent, how easy is it to switch to Priestley’s?
If you have signed a ‘sole agency’ agreement then you may need to give up to 30 days’ notice before switching to us. A ‘dual agency’ agreement, on the other hand, means you’ll be able to use Priestley’s immediately. If you are unsure, we can help you interpret your current contract.
Which time of year is the best to sell my property?
Statistically speaking, June, July and August have been proven to have the highest rate of agreed sales.
When will I be able to contact you?
You can communicate with the office during our opening hours which are Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm, and Saturday 10am-1pm. If you select our Diamond package, your allocated personal branch manager will be reachable 24/7.
